Description

Josh Simmons reflects back our inner turmoil in satirical fashion with hilarious comics. He designs mock magazine covers like Control Freak Comics and Stories with a man on its cover saying “It has to be clean, it has to be smooth” over and over for the special “Clean and Smooth Issue.” A four panel comic features a man apologizing to a woman in progressively worse ways that ends in personal torture. A series of melting and sobbing figures is accompanied by the text “Everyone is crying and melting all the time now.” Every issue of this comic has really captured what it feels like to be human right now with dark humor.
